Quick answer: If the AC quits in a Bergen County heat wave, check the thermostat batteries, the breaker and the condensate float switch before calling — a full drain pan shuts many systems off deliberately. If those are clear, call (201) 666-1118. Hours are 6AM to 6PM seven days with emergency response outside them.

Bergen County AC calls cluster into the first genuine heat wave of the season, when every system in the county runs hard for the first time and the marginal ones fail together. A frozen coil is the one to act on quickly: turning the system off and letting it thaw prevents compressor damage while you wait. We serve Westwood, Emerson, Hillsdale, River Vale, Washington Township, Woodcliff Lake, Park Ridge, Montvale, Paramus, Ridgewood, Oradell, Closter, Demarest, Dumont, Haworth, Harrington Park, Northvale, Norwood and Old Tappan.
